Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 am through 6:00 pm
St. Luke is rich in programs designed for children of all ages:
Our classrooms are divided according to developmental age ranges.
For example, our infants (6 weeks - 18 months) are divided into 4 classrooms. This enables us to keep each room equipped for your child's specific developmental stage.
St. Luke has an outstanding reputation as a top-notch Child Development Center, serving Omaha families since 1964.
Our staff turnover rate are far below average. Staff stability provides comfort for your child and continuity for you. We have a large number of staff who have been at St. Luke for more than 5 years and a handful more than 8.
We are not a Christian child care center in that we do not teach or emphasize religion. Our curriculum includes a focus on respect, tolerance, self-confidence, and caring interaction with one another. And are much more than just a "child care center." We provide an environment that enhances child development with programs which facilitate the physical, cognitive, language, and psychosocial development of your child.
We hold our staff to higher standards than required by our licensing. This includes an intensive interview and screening process, a physical exam, drug screen, criminal background check, and reference checking.
Your child's safety is our utmost concern. We hourly monitor our caregiver/child ratios to meet or exceed the state licensing requirements. For infants we maintain a minimum 1-4 ratio, for toddlers and 2 year olds it is 1-6, for 3 year olds it is 1-10, and for 4 year olds it is 1-12.
