“Boiling Hot” Capital Campaign 2020

St. Luke’s boiler is 50+ years old and many of us are  worried that we will wake up one day with the news that there is no heat in the St. Luke building.  If this happens on a cold day, the Child Development Center, church offices and most activities will be closed or cancelled.

Although not in the budget, the Trustees and Finance Committee do not think we can risk waiting any longer to replace the boiler.  Additionally, we are replacing the big air handler unit and hot water heater, both which also reside in the boiler room (and are years past their life span).

The cost for this whole project is $400,000.  We will not be able to pay for this without gifts from the congregation.  The “boiling hot” capital campaign will begin later this year (2020), but gifts are being received now.
