An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Saturday, repeating until September 28, 2019
This year our Habitat house is located at 3306 North 19th Street.
This home is a 4-bedroom built before 1920. It will be gutted down to the studs and completely rebuilt with an improved floor plan. If rehab houses are not your thing, we will also be working on a brand new house that is right next door! (Yes, we are working on TWO houses this year!)
St. Luke workers are needed every Saturday from now through the fall when the house is finished. There is work for all skill levels!!! On Saturdays, volunteers can work morning (8-12), afternoon (12-4), or both. Mark Butler and Ken Bruntz will be working on-site most Saturdays, so you will see at least one familiar St. Luke face.
If you are planning to work on any Saturday, you need to sign up on the Habitat web site. See details at the bottom of this page.
Providing Lunch on St. Luke Host Days
We need people willing to provide food for lunch (to feed 20 people) on the St. Luke Host Days (June 29, September 7, October 5). If you are willing to help provide food on one or more of these days, contact the Church Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 402-333-6886 ext. 300.
We also need one or two volunteers to coordinate the food, and gather and deliver the food to the house site. If you are willing to help coordinate, please let the Church Office know.
Signing Up to Work on Our Habitat Houses
Habitat is now requesting that all Habitat workers sign up on the Habitat web site whenever they are planning to work on a Habitat house. If you plan to work on our houses, follow the steps below to sign up.
